Chefs for Kids!

The next Chefs for Kids breakfast is scheduled for Rex Bell ES on Thursday, July 9 (2900 Wilmington Way, LV 89102).  We will begin serving the students at 8:30 am.  Set-up will begin at 7:30 am, so if you can come and help with that, it would be appreciated.  Rex Bell has 620 students and 50 staff.  Hope to see you then! Team Las Vegas

Team Las Vegas will hold team try-outs Saturday November 21, 2009 at UNLV Beam Hall. “The kitchen will be available from 8:00 am. - 11:30 am. Set-up must be finished by 11:45 am.” Judging will start at 12:00 noon, when judging is finished the judges will be there to give you feedback on how they scored your entry. All judges will use ACF rules and guidelines, these rules and guidelines can be found on the ACF web page.

The committee is looking for motivated and dedicated individuals who wish to bring back the gold from Erfurt, Germany. The Team will have 4 chefs 1 pastry chef and 2 alternates 1 chef and 1 pastry chef. Once the Team is created the committee will hold try-outs for Jr. Culinarians then select the 5 top scoring individuals to go as helpers for Team Las Vegas.
